The Calgary Space Workers, the parent club of "The Science Club" have been accumulating supplies and building smaller projects as part of a project to build a self sustainable biosphere as a research project to simulate what it would be like "To Live and Work in Space".
Our members (people like you) that help to build this project and do the research, will be the first to be able to live in this 4000 sqft self sustainable biosphere for short stays, to feel what it would be like to live on Mars, the Moon and/or beyond
For fourteen years I have with my group, been doing research and development toward this sustainable facility. Part of this project is growing and producing our own food.
Soon we will be looking at giving people an opportunity to live for short stays in the proof of concept demonstrator habitat. What it might be like to live on another celestial body. This will only be offered to those who help build the facility. We will monitor involvement with our club through the points system already in place.
If you ever wanted give it a try, live on Mars, the Moon or beyond, come on out.
Giving you the opportunity to practice growing hydroponically eventually aeroponically.
Will it be you???
