Non-Members must contact the Captain or their active member sponsor before attending their first meeting (any background information given to the Captain is in confidence) Background information is used to assist in fitting new members with projects that will challenge them and peak their interests. As a workers club we welcome everyone into our club . If you have a hobby that fits our mission, please allow us to be part of your passion
The members are maintaining the vision of our club. The reason members are involved is to expand on their potential. All of us have a potential that is above the type of work that we do in our daily lives. The CSW offer a chance for people to do something perceived at a glance to be impossible , to move forward with ideas that they can visualize as reality. Members are driven by a desire to become involved in a difficult and complex challenge. Click here to Contact us

Projects of interest > Biocoil reactor and extendended corridor from habitat is being built > Heating panels/ solar panels made from moon dust simulant > Zeolite research > Inflatable corridors for habitat > Subsistance project (plant food) > Glass Monolithic Dome Project > International Space Station (ISS) Radio Communication > Vaccuum chamber project
Dr Robert Thirsk talking to RT Alderman school children
The Amature Radio club ARISS with president Ken Oelke in association with the Calgary Space Workers Society in the contact of the International Space Station and Dr. Robert Thirsk.
We had a great pass of the ISS and the ARISS team are a great bunch of guys. The CSW were thrilled to watch this event and allowing the use of our radio equipment was inspiring beyond a dought. These guys put the dance in the dance shoes and are great people as well.
This note from our first contact says it all.....
Hi ARISS Team! WOW....look what Brian Jackson received from Bob Thirsk. Now - how often do you get an e-mail from an Astronaut, shortly after (7:24 PM)talking with him on 2 metres? This is so cool, and again you guys and gals helped pull off an awesome event for the Kids. For more information click here

Our Vision
We at CSW are a group of workers with a desire "To Live And Work In Space"
Our Mission
To allow the rapid expansion of human development and the development of infrastructure for space. We will do this by providing a means to train individuals for the future of space colonization. We will make available funds and materials to construct infrastructure for space development.
There is no looking back as we create the demonstrator, prototype then the working model of our moon habitat and research station.
The demonstrator: Our members will be building a Hard-shell Analog Headquarters, the Hard-shell Manufacturing shop, the Connecting Inflatable Corridor, the Inflatable Wetlands Biosphere Module and the Inflatable Sleeping Quarters Module. Later the members will build their own personal inflatable or mobile habitats that will accompany the groups project.
